Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry

Hi. Since she's been accepted, I'll try to make this short as possible. This is 34yr old is Brooke Costa, who's played by Evangeline Lilly. She's in as the 'the directionless' premade, which may say a lot about her current state. She's a former USAF officer, and has settled into civilian life for the past few years, with tries of figuring out what she wants out of life. A few mishaps regarding her personal life has been somewhat discouraging, hence the move to NYC about a year or so ago for some change. Her bio is here, where you can get a gist of her. She's pretty much the old lady in the shoe, who likes to go out every once and awhile just to feel like she's younger than she actually is.

Currently she works for a daycare center, I'm guessing in manhattan. That's not set in stone, though. Just as the borough she resides isn't set either. I'm leaning towards Brooklyn or Queens. She's close cousins to [info]julietsk, maybe friends to [info]knlitka, and I may be missing a few. She could use any and everything. Any Brooklyn or dwellers in the other boroughs that need a neighbor. New and old pals, strangers she's creeped on randomly, or a recent fling. I'm cool with hashing out ideas and just seeing where simple connections can go.

I can offer Chase up for something. He comes from a law enforcement/law type of family and is the second oldest from a family of six. it sounds like they have a few things in common and I'm sure he would be very interested in her story. I could offer him up as a potential friend, and perhaps she has common links with the rest of his family. I'm on the look out for bringing in one of his other brothers. Right now it's [info]marcorossi and I, but we both could use friends of the family.

Oh yes, a lot in common. I take it he's in a different spot, as far as sibling order is concerned. If anything, a friend of the family could be it. Maybe they met through a mutual friend or something? I can see it being a co-worker of hers who was the middle man through a gathering or something.

I like the sound of that. Her being Italian definitely is a plus since the Rossi family is through and through Italian. Chase is the type of person that enjoys helping out others from similar backgrounds, to the point he'll shop at a little Italian mom and pop store first over a grocery chain, etc. Also, he has split custody over his two year old son Matteo, so since she works as a daycare attendant, maybe sometimes he drops off Matteo? He's stop by during his lunch break and bring her and the other kids a bite to eat, if that's allowed. Or at least enjoy a juice box and check on her and Matteo.

Sounds good. Her father's family is scattered around NY. Either in Staten, Queens, or Long Island. So that Italian background would help a ton. Are they very traditional? She often comes off as slightly eccentric when it comes to childcare, but that's mostly due to the fact that she likes to tap into her imaginative, and creative side. She would be very hands on but of course. I'm not sure about the sharing a lunch with the kids that are there, because some may have allergies, and etc. She'll take a juice box though!

Sorry for the journal switch up, above. It's going to take me a while to get use to being in his journal again. Anyway, his family is conservative but he isn't by any means. He's an artist and art gallery owner by trade. He's always filling his life with eccentric people and wants his children to walk off the beaten path. Haha, that works, he'll bring juice boxes. Also, Marco is a bit iffy around children. He has good intentions but he does sleep like the dead and Matteo has a tendency to wake up early. So he'd probably drop Matteo off before he heads to work.

It's not a problem. That's what I've picked up from the comments below. Which sounds funny but understandable. I just need to figure out a day care center or something that's already established, that would be in the city.

Cutting in. Hi! Marco lives with Chase so if there's a connection with her daycare and Chase's children, she'd see Marco too.

Hey! I'm sure she'll strike him up with conversations if he visits or even is listed to pick up/drop off Chase's kid.

Marco isn't working or in school at the moment. He's trying to figure out his next step in life so they seem to have that in common. But if she had Matteo it would be because Marco hadn't insisted on watching him himself or the kid needed to be watched before 10am ha.

That's interesting to know. I feel like since she has slightly more life experience, she's still unsure. I think they'll definitely bond over that for sure. Lmao. Is that his wake up call? After 10am?

Marco sleeps like the dead. He's grumpy before 10am haha. He used to solve that by jogging the beach daily but its cold here and he hasn't established a habit for early mornings just yet.

It makes sense enough for him to have a set time to be alive. The gym maybe?

He goes daily, but he doesn't work so there's no incentive to be there early and fight everyone else trying to get a workout in before the work day. Eventually he'll take on daily runs in Central Park

On her days off, she'll go running or to the gym. They should meet up at central park one of those set days and run!
