i'm going off of less than four hours of sleep at the moment, so if anything doesn't make sense, that's why. that's my claim anyway.
jakob here is the original single premade, "the big daddy." he is a cross between mark sloan and christian troy if any of you are familiar with those characters. in layman's terms, he's a plastic surgeon that's while not necessarily obsessed with perfection, fascinated by it. a womanizer to say the least, he also prides himself on being able to woo the girl and then most likely later take her self-esteem down to practically nothing when he analyzes her body. it's not something he really thinks about and instead is more of a god-complex that he has. extremely proud, jakob feels himself superior to most others and though he won't outright say as much, he certainly carries himself as such. he's been in new york for the past ten years and everything has been just wonderful for him until about two months ago when a bomb was dropped on him in the form of a six year old little girl. the bachelor life and marriage to his job (he and a partner own their own private clinic) aren't exactly conducive to raising a child, so it's been a major struggle for jakob trying to find the balance and more importantly trying to figure out just what the hell he's supposed to do with a kid.
i would love to get some past and potential future connections for him. past and future flings would be great, people who hate or are at least disgusted by him, and then those people that might miraculously look past his flaws to befriend him. you have to be symmetrical and/or at least really, really good company. i'm going to go grab some more shut eye, so give me something to wake up to ~wedded!

I am bringing in this Lily Cole as one half of the arranged marriage and thought I'd look for some lines for her. The idea is Shelby Lee Pennington is the only daughter of the head of Penn Oil, a fictional oil company in Texas that I based off of Chevron. It is an arranged marriage and it's a custom within her family to marry their children off to high ranking political families to help keep their political interests active and vested as well as for the politician's family to have significant financial backing.
She'll be 20 on November 1 and married on November 5 and it's obviously going to be a very large wedding with a lot of press since she's marrying a well regarded New York state senator. She's been attending Princeton's Environmental Institute the last two years so she has a good head for business, is very smart and also an activist for various environmental causes. She loves horses and rides and breeds them so if your character has kids, it could be that she can teach them riding and I would love to have some friends who realize that even though she is part of this massive family that comes from old oil money, she is still a sweet and very down to earth girl who loves just her mom, animals and the environment.
Also if there is anyone who does wedding planning, catering, fashion or anything and wants the press of being involved in a high profile wedding, there is that, too. Maybe fellow new brides as friends to help her transition into married life? I would love to find a best girlfriend for her to be a maid of honor and that she can vent to about marrying a man she doesn't know she loves and cry to about her wedding night fears. Haha, I'm sorry. I'm terrible at these things.

I have her applied, and I have been putting this off. This is Gillian McCartney, 30 years old. She is coming in as the Med Student. She recently got out of a nine year relationship to which she was engaged to ~emarshall. She met someone else, and things are going slow. She is finishing up med school and becoming a resident at St. Luke's. She is going into ob gyn work. She has been in New York for 12 years. It took her three tries to get into med school.
She is outgoing. She is fascinated with the female body due to the fact that she problems of her own. She was told at a young age that she couldn't bare, but if she tried it would be tough. She enjoys cycling, painting, and bowling when she isn't consumer with school. She does need a roommate if the other doesn't apply, more girl friends indeed. Her stuff is located in her journal, and I believe that is it! So lines anyone?

Hello, this is Devon Hayes, a Boston native and New York staple. He can be heard on Sirius XM as the radio host of Talking Dirty with Dev, a sex, love and relationship program along the lines of Loveline with Dr. Drew and Sue Johansson’s show in Canada. He’s currently working on his PHD at NYU and slowly working on his next book. Seeing he is “The New York Bachelor” I would love any and everything with people. He really could use some mates to hang out with, neighbors in Greenwich Village, and even classmates so he won’t feel like the only 34 year old in his classes. Past girlfriends, boyfriends, flings, interests, are always welcomed as well.

I've been putting this off because I am incredibly lazy, but this is Bastien Kirtley. He's a psych professor at Columbia, in his late thirties, and "secretly" engaged to his recently graduated ex-student ( ainsli). He's got some very nerdy tendencies and likes some very nerdy things, but is also well-spoken and easy to get along with. A conversation with Bas is likely to devolve into him asking a few thousand questions, and the truth is that a lot of the time he just uses it as a good way to avoid talking about himself. Besides for that, he's a naturally inquisitive guy. Most things are interesting to him, and all people are fascinating. He's flirtatious to a fault, but he loves his fiancee and wouldn't dream of ever doing anything to ruin that. All in all he's a nice guy with an overabundance of confidence and an utter lack of shame. He's outgoing and friendly, and not so perfectly behaved that he's incapable of having a good time. He can be awkwardly philosophical, so he does sometimes go off on strange tangents that might not even make logical sense. He's also prone to giving advice whether people want it or not, mostly because he's usually in tune with people (due to his career and education), and feels obligated to help when he knows what to say...which he thinks is always.
I'd love to get some guy friends, some lady friends, maybe an ex or a fling or two from before he started seeing Ainslie. He has one best friend in the form of pera but another would be cool. Or just comment and say you're open to something and I'll brainstorm for us!
