I am bringing in this Lily Cole as one half of the arranged marriage and thought I'd look for some lines for her. The idea is Shelby Lee Pennington is the only daughter of the head of Penn Oil, a fictional oil company in Texas that I based off of Chevron. It is an arranged marriage and it's a custom within her family to marry their children off to high ranking political families to help keep their political interests active and vested as well as for the politician's family to have significant financial backing.

She'll be 20 on November 1 and married on November 5 and it's obviously going to be a very large wedding with a lot of press since she's marrying a well regarded New York state senator. She's been attending Princeton's Environmental Institute the last two years so she has a good head for business, is very smart and also an activist for various environmental causes. She loves horses and rides and breeds them so if your character has kids, it could be that she can teach them riding and I would love to have some friends who realize that even though she is part of this massive family that comes from old oil money, she is still a sweet and very down to earth girl who loves just her mom, animals and the environment.

Also if there is anyone who does wedding planning, catering, fashion or anything and wants the press of being involved in a high profile wedding, there is that, too. Maybe fellow new brides as friends to help her transition into married life? I would love to find a best girlfriend for her to be a maid of honor and that she can vent to about marrying a man she doesn't know she loves and cry to about her wedding night fears. Haha, I'm sorry. I'm terrible at these things.

	she's currently attending nyu as a pre-med student, and she works shifts in between as an er tech. she occasionally covers shifts at the lab as well, when she's needed, so maybe we could say she was the one who did the blood work for her wedding license or something like that? If you’re interested, I can offer up both Cosette and her boyfriend/soon-to-be fiancé Jacob (

jfoner) for covering her wedding. They are both staff fashion photographers for GQ; however, they do outside work as well. Cosette worked for Vogue Paris and US Vogue for a while so she knows the ins-and-outs of the fashion world. I could definitely see her wedding being covered in GQ’s magazine or something of similar caliber.

On a personal level, Cosette enjoys riding horses, has two kids, and is a big animal and environment lover. I think they would definitely get along.

That would definitely make sense. I had kind of bee thinking that perhaps a classic American designer like Tom Ford had been commissioned to do all of the gowns and tuxedos for the wedding and with money and power like it, it would definitely be covered by GQ. She would be really reluctant to talk about the wedding so I am sure all of that has been handled by her family. So I think they should definitely meet and talk about horses and the environment so it will make it easier for Cosette to cover her wedding.

	I can offer you Micaela for anything. She's a make-up artist and works for a very well known make-up artist so it's possible she would be involved in the wedding. She's also the daughter of a politician so she knows how living with one would be so they could talk about that as well maybe. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Maybe she can play at Shelby Lee's wedding or were friends before that and her mother wanted someone else but since May was her friend, she insisted that it be her. They're pretty close in age and Shelby Lee would definitely want more people there that she knows, especially when she knows the exposure would be incredible for May's musical future. 	yeah that's definitely okay with me. she doesn't hate her situation, just the idea of the massively large wedding. she really cares about her future husband but she wants to just elope and get it over with. she and may can sneak away and drink some champagne. (Reply to this) (Parent)
