So meet 29 year old John Choo, born in Chicago but recently moved here to start working at Guilford Publications, Inc as Journals Marketing Project Manager. Hello, everyone! So, I'm going to start this off by saying that I'm kind of super nervous. Mostly because I don't typically play the character type that isn't, well, nice! Not to say Staton here is mean but, well, he can be. He's coming in as the cynic and single. I feel like his back story is kind of cliche a bit boring at the same time, however, I tend to tweak things a lot as I really get to know my characters over time. I'm also nervous because this seems like an amazing community that I've wanted to join for forever but never actually did until now. I'm sure you're all absolutely wonderful though and that's why I want lines with as many of you as I can possibly get!
Basically Staton Gorbel is from Long Island, New York. He's 21 and currently lives in the Bronx but attends the Borough of Manhattan Community College where he is in his second year. He works in Times Square at Red Lobster and is quite honestly making just enough money to pay his rent and eat at least once a day (he's not starving or dying or anything, you know how college students are!). His parents were teenagers when they conceived him and so his family life hasn't ever been a spectacular one. I'm keeping his voice true to life so he doesn't exactly sound like the manliest of men and he's very much out as far as his sexuality goes but not by choice. He's actually never even admitted it he's just always gone through life with people assuming, even his father who is a police officer and the least proud of him.
I'd honestly love anything anyone has to offer as long as we can talk about it a little first! I'm pretty open minded and would be up for quite a lot but if I'm not comfortable with an idea or I don't think it'd really fit then I'll let you know for sure. I know this isn't much information to go off but I hope we can at least see if a few ideas, even generic ones, can be tossed around. He is in need of everything.

Hi everyone! This here is Shiloh Covington. He's 25 and works as a personal shopping assistant at Sacks Fifth Avenue because he's a fashionable little bastard who can help you pick out the best of the best. He's also a musician in a band and plays a few gigs around town. He's super sweet, friendly, and laid back. He loves to talk and get to know people, and can get along with just about anyone. His premade is The May/December and he is dating ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kelvin. The relationship is pretty new, only a month old at the moment, and he's definitely in that smitten kitten mode right now. On New Years he got hit by a car while riding his bike, and he had to have emergency surgery to get the swelling in his brain down. Kelvin was his ER doctor. They ran into each other two months later, and things blossomed. He currently shares an apartment with his cousin, and he has a ridiculously (awesome) wardrobe. He needs basically anything and everything, especially friends and fellow musicians. Get at me!

This is Eva, a part of the singles club under the premade of The Ballerina. Her face is Marion Cotillard and she comes from a rich family in Alabama, has a son with her ex-boyfriend aquaid and needs a lot of friends. I'd love to see people who work at her studio, the boy who "cougar hunts" after her, high society friends, some gal pals and anything anyone else might want. Her full bio will tell you all you need to know about her. But as far as her connections are concerned, the sky is the limit because she has a way of working her way up in the world. On the outside people think of her as a bitch, but she ahs a soft spot for her son Roman as well as anyone that she lets get close to her. Though this takes a lot of trust on her part. I know this was short and sweet, but I hope she can find a good home here.

HI. I have Cory Monteith coming in as the other half to the Peter Pan and Wendy premade. Just that alone tells you almost everything about him. He's an overgrown four year old with the attention span of a goldfish but somehow, Alice tolerates him and his random stupidity. He's originally from Georgia and moved down to NYC about a year ago with Alice to make a new life for themselves. Their relationship is still really new. Well, sort of. They dated for a while back in GA, broke up and became best friends, and they've just recently decided to give their relationship another go.
Despite his apparent inability to act like an adult (at least MOST of the time), John is a very cool guy. Your character might feel the need to sock him in the mouth every once in a while, but he's good people. He's fun to hang out with at least, and if you need a picker-upper, he's the guy for the job.
Speaking of jobs, he currently works as a bartender and a host at a karaoke bar. And he does a few performances too to get the ball rolling. He's a total ham so being the stage host kind of works for him. As for lines, he'll need just about EVERYTHING. All he really has is acea so friends, co-workers, neighbors, whatever would be awesome.

Hey all! This is Alice, 30 year old event planner originally from Georgia. She moved here about a year or so ago with her best friend and now boyfriend johnperry. A new chapter in life was needed, and New York seemed like the perfect place to do it. It took her sometime to get her event planning business up and running in Georgia while her partner now solely runs the one she was at back in Georgia. Alice is very protective, especially when it comes to family & friends. She's into music and movies, likes hanging out with friends and kind of is a bit of an oddball. She comes off a little weird when you first meet her, but she definitely has the ability to grow on you as time goes on. John has a way of bringing her younger side out often and she pretty much embraces that. As for lines, she currently only has johnperry and keryn is her favorite cousin/close friend, but I definitely could use more. I am in the midst of reworking her bio a bit! But if you want to take a peek here. I could use friends, people she doesn't get along with, anything really!

Meet Jhessica Eileen Foster, I just held her as 'the eccentric' -- currently am between tasks at work so forgive me if I keep this rather short.
Jhess is an Alabama native -- it only takes about 5 seconds worth of words coming out of her mouth before you realize just how country she is. I'm thinking she works ... in a funeral home, mainly because she went to cosmotology school but found that standing behind a chair fixing old ladies hair while they yapped away about everything under the sun? not her cup of tea. so now she gets the dead presentable for their viewings. she's cheeky and fun and can be a bit of a tomboy though she's a pretty straight shooter when it comes to the manner in which she speaks. Pretty aggressive over things she wants and usually doesn't take no for an answer. she's been in the area about 5 years.
oh. yeah. she cashes into a view of the more 'legit' (in her book) conspiracy theories and loves a good old fashioned debate.

Hello all! I just applied for The New Money line with the face of Andrew Garfield. Callum Prewitt is an almost-25-year-old, wannabe writer originally from Charleston, South Carolina. Just to keep it brief, he and his younger sister (who I imagine in my mind to be The Ballerina) moved to NYC so he could attend NYU for grad school while she dances in ABT's studio company. Cal's money comes from his parents dying in a car crash about two years ago, and he's not entirely sure what to do with it all. He's been in New York for a little over a year now, but still feels pretty out of place and lonely for obvious reasons. He's basically a friendly, hardworking guy who's had some low blows lately.

I have absolutely not been able to sleep - which royally blows because I have a meeting in ... oh - about two hours. Yay for baggy eyes! I bring to you a Jessica Alba PB - she'll be 'The Wedding Planner' premade (if she gets in, at least). Her name is Keryn Andrews - turning twenty-eight next month. She's originally from Houston, Texas but moved to New York after she graduated college some odd years ago, so she's been around for a good amount of time.
She's incredibly silly - a huge, goofy bundle of energy that sometimes doesn't know how to stop. Honestly, she's fun. Her work ethic is entirely different, however - she takes it very seriously and strives for perfection. She has to be serious at least for one part of her life, why not work? Outside of work, she's very friendly, and well, like I said, goofy. She's a sweet girl and she's pretty dorky once you actually start talking to her and/or hanging out with her. She's kind of weird - kind of random, but that's always a good thing to have in your life, I like to think.
As for lines, I'm looking for ... anything and everything! She could use clients that need help with their upcoming wedding or even those who've been her clients before and have actually kept in contact with her. Maybe some friends that hang out with her when she's not buried in her paper work and organizing, neighbors that pester her just for the hell of it, drinking buddies, karaoke partners, girlfriends that she can gab with, whatever. If you think she could fit into your line somehow, throw her in! Her bio is open in her journal in case anyone needs or rather, wants to know a little bit more about her. We don't bite, I swear.

He's awesome but dickie... as I seem to like my men. His PB is Sean Patrick Flannery... Because for two reasons: a) He's super awesome and b) I like me some cheese in my lines. Please, don't be shy.
