Buffy wanted to get out of LA. She had spent a few nights here now, and noticed that the streets were covered with these...things. She wouldn't dare care them vampires. That would be an insult to vampires. She never thought that she'd be worried about insulting a vampire, but she knew that she'd never want to insult Angel like that. She wondered where he was right now. Was he still in LA? Was he even alive, or immune from this disease thing? It seemed that she was. Of course, being a Slayer, a good constitution was sort of her thing.

She couldn't seem to find Sunnydale on a map, even. Whenever she tried to call anyone from home, she kept getting weird messages, when she got anything at all. Technically, her cell phone still worked, but it couldn't seem to get any signal. She was determined to find Sunnydale. She knew how to get there from LA. She wanted to check on her mom and see if she was alright. She wanted to know if Giles and her friends were alright. She had to get out of here.
