Week 2 - Plant of the Week - Corkscrew hazel and Amelanchier

We're looking at our first plants of the week, the Corkscrew Hazel and Amelanchier.
Thank you to Maureen and Tracy for bravely taking these on.

Our house plant of the week is the Cymbidium orchid, a very beautiful plant.

Week 1 - Plant of the Week - Poinsettia

The academic year says that it's Spring Term, but in week one, Spring seemed very unlikely!
Here we are though, and here's our Plant of the Week. We're doing houseplants this term, and we're starting with poinsettia:

Week 2 - Plant of the week - Dierama

Our plant of the week for week 2 is teh lovely Dierama - both the species D. dracomontanum, and the cultivar D. pulcherrimum 'Blackbird'.
We saw trhe pictures last week, when we were looking at the seeds we intend to sow this term. Here's the handout:
