New clothes were bliss. Music outside her own head was bliss. Waking up in a warm bed that didn't have bugs and being able to take a hot shower was absolute bliss. And the best part was that most of them time, they were completely alone here while everyone else worked things out. When she'd woken up, she'd gone through the notes the others had left, put away the mess Andy had left and aired the room out from smoke, then went down into the common room to crank the music.

She danced cheerily as she sang, a hairbrush held up like a microphone as she belted out the lyrics to a favorite pop song, her voice soaring with the music, letting it override the noise inside her mind. Loud as it was, she didn't hear when the door opened, and someone else came in.

He realized, suddenly, that that might mean and apologized. "I'm sorry. I think I understand now. I really oughtn't have brought that up again."

"It's alright," she said, her lips pursing for a moment as she insisted, looking inward, "It is. We're just talking about it, not doing it, and I can't anyway, remember?"

"Don't worry. It's something he's going to have to talk about eventually, because shouldn't everyone be figuring out how we can all use our various strengths to be a team? Not that I don't get to have that conversation almost nightly, sometimes, but if Mickey's going to be using his abilities near other people, then they ought to know some of the drawbacks, too," Char pointed out.

"Maybe you should write an educational brochure," Ganesh quipped. There was no point, he thought, in making dark of the subject. "It might be a conversation worth having with the others... if you can have that conversation easily." His eyebrow quirked, wondering how it worked for them.

Char giggled. "A cheat sheet. It might be useful. I can start it and see what everyone else adds onto it. And we do talk... I don't think they did, before I came in here. Boys." She huffed a sigh with a humored roll of her eyes. "I think it would be easier if we can find a way to work together. Of course, I also think it would be easier if we could find a way to switch when we're awake."

"Have you tried?" Ganesh asked. "Or is that something that they don't agree upon either?"

"We've tried, but it hasn't worked. Mickey sometimes wouldn't mind, but most of the time doesn't want to give himself up. Andy's very whatever about it all, but he likes getting his time out. Jimmy..." Char made a face. "Jimmy's probably the problem. He likes to be independent." Her expression brightened. "But forced naps work sometimes, as long as the right one comes out after. I took a nap and left a note for Mickey about the letter, and he managed to get to the meeting."
