JT sat at one of the side tables in The Other Side, holding a cup of tea in both hands. He was happy that Tom had decided to met with him, and felt a little bad that the "neutral ground" he had picked was actually someplace he worked, but wasn't going to worry about it too much. He had been thinking about the meeting all week but had managed to not tip off Pam that anything was off.

He had arrived a bit early, but still checked his pad for a message from Tom saying he needed to cancel or something.

Maxxie came in with a bag slung across her body, over her shoulders, and her hair curling around her face, wisps having slipped from the braids that held it back. She dropped the bag on the floor and nudged it out of the way under the table before she settled into an empty chair. "I cleaned out my locker, and I canceled my plane ticket," she said to Tom, then she looked at JT and smiled. "Hi."

	"Like I said. As long as we don't find out that they're going to expect anything crazy from us, I'm in. Because honestly? I don't have anything more to lose by joining up than by not, and possibly more to lose with the latter. Like, y'know, my rights." "Not everyone there was an Ace," Tom said. "Although it seemed like maybe the majority was. It seems like, from what we've been told so far, they're looking to set up a sort of coalition. Like, 'Look! These Aces and Jokers and Nats are all getting along! Can't we all?'" He let out a slow breath. "You could always ask to speak to her. Katherine, I mean. Or we can ask." He gestured between himself and Maxxie.
