The lean I was detected by John, and it surprised him. He made no reaction, however. He held no illusion that this man was any less dangerous without the fanged face and wet speech. He took a step back ever so slightly, indicating on a more primal level that he intended no harm, just in case. Unusual reactions allowed for unusual responses, after all.
He listened to the explanation, and almost laughed at the description, though he managed to restrain it to an earnest chuckle.
"New presence. Changing you, stronger but different," he nodded, looking at his own hand, which moments before had been encased by Venom's. "I'm not unfamiliar with the concept." He started for another long moment. If anything, according to anybody else, it had taken him too long to adjust, but the sudden conflict of two minds was something he'd struggled with upon rebirth, and thought a great deal on.
