Getting what she asked for...(open)
Fred smiled as she looked at the office from across the street. It had taken some smaller jobs, very small jobs. The kind of jobs that her superhero/champion friends didn't need to do, but she'd finally gotten the windows replaced. It wasn't easy. It had meant she had to go without a few of her favorite things more often than not. Yet, she did it. The City had probably helped a little by padding her wallet, but she'd at least earned some of the money, right? She was going to need a few more jobs and City financial assistance to get the sign painted back on the windows, and the blinds, and furniture, but she'd do it.

She glanced at Harry's shop, wondering how it was still so close. She wondered for a moment if the building had something to do with it. She considered that smaller movements took more precision, so much so that the City hadn't programmed in the motion of rooms. Then she realized that the Library did tend to move around; patrons or staff putting books back in the wrong place could only account for so much.

The brainy female couldn't hold back the sigh. It was a mix of sadness, wistfulness, excitement, satisfaction, and breathing. The next day she would be installing the butcher paper and the tracks for said butcher paper, but that was tomorrow. As the sun started to set, Fred was feeling restless, only she wasn't sure what to do. It wasn't that she wanted something to happen exactly, only...she did. For a rare and probably dangerous moment, Fred hoped that the City sent someone or something her way.

Dinah gave Fred a sympathetic look. She hated when things moved around on her too.

"I can give you a ride home," she reassured her. "I was actually finishing up for the night anyway."

Thankfully, her bike was still where she'd left it and she led Fred over to the bike and then retrieved an extra helmet to offer to Fred.
