Dinah scratched Mouse behind the ears and gave the dog a small smile. She'd missed him.
Once she'd properly greeted Mouse, she stood up and looked at Harry. She didn't miss the deer in headlights look, and she suddenly realized that maybe waiting around to talk to him hadn't been a good idea after all.
"Hi. Um, I stopped by to see you and Murphy said it would be okay if I waited here."
There was a bit of a question in her voice. She would have moved closer to the door, ready to make a hasty exit, but Harry was still hovering, as though he was considering making a quick exit himself.
