Catch me if you can - Fight club challenge (Dean)
He was just in the mood for a light snack. Something quick. What the humans liked to call 'fast food'. He didn't want to have to hunt down Fred for it, it would take too long. It also hadn't been a very long time since he'd fed on her last, and wanted a little more time to go by before they saw each other again. Let those dreams get in there good and deep. He also didn't want to ask Baba. She was not the sort you went to for a quick meal. Baba was to be enjoyed. Savored. And on top of that, they had experiments to run, didn't they? He couldn't just ask her for something as powerful as her blood and then tell her that he had to run.

The sun had only just gone down. He'd been up for almost two full hours before sunset. He could tell that the blood he'd already taken from the ancient hag was wearing off. But not as quickly as he'd thought it would. Soon, though, he would be waking just before sunset as he had previous to ever knowing her. He still hadn't dared to go outside until the sun was dark, however. He wasn't foolish enough to try that this late in the game and without the help that Baba Yaga had promised him. Instead, he'd been irritated for those entire two hours by the new day girl. She talked his ear off. With the most inane crap he'd ever heard in his life. He didn't know if she'd been trying to impress him or flirt with him or if she'd been highly nervous. It didn't matter. By the end of the two hours, he'd really felt like killing her. If hiring a day girl wasn't so tedious, he might have.

He'd left as soon as he could, not saying a word.

Not knowing where he was going, he'd just started to walk. As he walked, he realized that he was a little bit hungry. Thus, the snack. It really hadn't taken him long to find somebody suitable for his needs. A lovely young lad walking by himself. Eric had taken him down quickly, sweeping him into an alley quickly, and before the boy ever knew what was going on. The kid was right around the age of 13, Eric thought. Young. Tasty.

His fangs slid easily into the flesh and Eric got ready to have his mini meal.

Eric saw the blood, and an easy opportunity to verify his wonderings and also potentially throw the human off course mentally. He leaned in close, contorting his body in a way that a human body wouldn't go, still keeping his knees in place, still not using his hands to hold himself up.

"Pity. Because you are mine." His tongue traced the line of blood dripping from the human's lips, all the way back to the source. He didn't go any further than that, didn't go so far as to force his tongue into the human's mouth, as much as he might have wanted to taste blood more fresh. He knew very quickly though, that this one was just a regular human. Not even part fairy. He just smelled of it.

He was actually a little disappointed. It had been a while since he'd had fairy blood. "Not a fairy." Eric gave his head a little disappointed shake and let it go. Taking blood from this one wouldn't be nearly as much fun without the hint of otherness. But he still might do it anyway. Just as a means to an end. The bleeding he'd done negated the snack he'd had. It seemed a shame to waste this chance to not only heal himself a little quicker, but meet his original goal as well. Not now, however. Later. When it would be more insult to injury than a moment of horror or pain.

Eric sat up a little and then leaned back. He placed his hand just below the human's knee. It took no effort at all to squeeze and place pressure until he felt and heard the bone snap. It was a gratifying moment for Eric. A smile washed over his features, going all the way into his eyes. He looked at the human again. Already he was feeling better about things, and he wasn't even quite beginning.

"I feel that since we're beginning to know each other a little better, I should know your name." Eric began to search for a wallet, not waiting for the human to respond. He found it in fairly short order and flipped it open. "Bill? Your name is Bill?" Eric rolled his eyes. Another Bill he disliked immensely. At least this one he could do horrible things to.

"Whatever. What shall I do to you next, Bill?"

Dean tried to turn his head away from the tongue. His jaw tightened painfully. He tried to think passed the tongue going where it shouldn't. He focused on what weapons he had on him; he thought of what he could do to the vampire. When he could and would attack. He considered calling Castiel, for only a moment.

He didn't look up at Eric right away. There wasn't much that Eric could do that hadn't been done to Dean down in the Pit. Not even licking him. The hunter knew torture from both sides, and while he wasn't exactly immune to the pain, not even completely to the psychological aspects, he refused to actually give over to the damned thing on top of him.

The hunter didn't cry out when he felt his leg break. He grunted, and his jaw twitched. His eyes remained bloodshot and watered, but he didn't cry out. He had no way of fighting back, but there was something about the vampire not knowing his name that seemed like a little defiance.

When he finally looked up at Eric, something had changed. His eyes were cold, a cold anger burning there. The smile on his lips, a hint of it anyway, held no mirth. It was just a few degrees from the kind of smile that dared a bully to hit it one more time.

""Depends," His voice wasn't steady, yet he didn't sound as if he were about break down and ask for mercy. "Are you going to buy me dinner first?"

"No." Eric grinned back. "I am not."

Without moving, Eric put pressure on 'Bill's' chest with his knee, feeling a couple of the ribs snap. It had been a good long time since the last time he'd been able to physically torture a human. At least with this much freedom. Without the worry that some vampire law was going to get him into trouble. It made him quite happy.

It had stopped being about just the torture, just getting the human back for hurting him. Now it was the enjoyment of the strength of this particular model. He hadn't cried out. He hadn't begged Eric to stop. He was showing the effects of the pain, but not highly. Eric liked that. It gave him a little bit of respect for the guy. These were things that would have had other humans passed out, crying, pleading, but this one just kept on being witty.

He assessed the damage he had done thus far. It was quite a lot. The human Bill now had one leg and one arm that wouldn't work right. He had a lovely bruise forming on his face. Broken ribs. Eric put a finger down near his knee and pushed, breaking another rib as if it were a blade of dry grass.

Eric decided he was pretty done. Except for one thing. He put a hand to the bruised side of the human's face and pushed his head aside, holding against the ground with enough pressure that there wouldn't be a struggle. He bent again, in that unnatural way, and put his lips against Bill's neck. The pulse was still strong, furious. Eric sunk his fangs in. Despite the blood not being tinted with fairy, it was still very good. Definitely better than Fred's, and Fred's was at the top of his list.

Dean knew he was about to feel more pain. He knew he shouldn't keep pushing, but he couldn't back down. The vampire had struck a nerve that few in the City knew about. Not even Sam knew exactly how bad it had gotten. Sam had no idea what Dean had been through, at least not the Sam who was in the City. He didn't think the one he'd left behind could truly understand either, even with his own stint in Hell.

The free hand dug at the asphalt, and he felt the added pain of fingernails breaking in ways they shouldn't. It reminded him of the time he'd had to dig himself out of the grave. It kept his mind off what was really happening. There were more grunts, slight jerks under the vampire's body. He tried to focus on the pain in his hand, the one he could still move.

His focus wavered greatly. Not when the vampire turned his head, but when he felt the fangs break skin. His chest heaved slightly; so this was how he was going to die? There wasn't a whimper, but he was shaking. There wasn't any one emotion that caused that reaction; perhaps it was all those emotions at once. Being fed on twisted his stomach worse than all the pain of broken bone and misplaced joints. He didn't cry, but if he could have, he would have lost whatever he had eaten early.

Eric pulled back from the bite. Very satisfying. He'd taken more from this one than from the earlier one. Not too much, though. He debated for a moment, using his blood to close over the two puncture marks on the human's neck. He'd done pretty well at covering his tracks thus far. Then he decided against it. The boy was in very bad shape as it was. It was likely nobody would care very much about the wounds on his neck, and it would be fairly obvious that somebody of great strength had done this thing. There would be the random bruising that would come of weapons used. In fact, there would be a fairly clear hand print bruise on Bill's leg right above where it was broken.

He tilted his head and looked down at his victim. Because that's what he was now, strength of will or not. He took his hand away from Bill's head and let it go freely where it wanted to. He didn't quite move away from his position yet.

"I have come to the understanding that there are different kinds of vampires here. I'm guessing that the ones you have had contact with were fairly easily taken care of. Perhaps now you will realize that we are not all so fragile and weak." Eric nodded down to the man's body. To indicate how easily he'd done what he'd done. He'd put forth almost no energy to do the breaking that he'd done. "But I do like your... what do you humans call it these days? Spunk? You have a very strong constitution. I've come to respect you in our time together, and you should feel honored, it does not happen very often."

If he really thought about it, likely Eric could count the amount of humans he actually respected on one hand.

Eric really smiled then. The thing that seemed to bother this one the most was not the pain, but when he got too close. The drinking of his blood. When Eric had licked his face. What better than to inundate him with something all the more uncomfortable?

His smile twitched, hinting at held back laughter. "I am going to do something for you."

Again there was the pause, not looking right at the thing, but Dean's head soon lifted, allowing him to look right into those eyes. The look spoke of his disgust, hate, and the ever present anger. Dean didn't bother trying to hide it. Not even a little bit.

"If you could go fuck yourself," Dean nearly winced at how raspy from emotion, but he wouldn't stop. "That'd be great." He'd almost mentioned his car; only the thought of this asshole in his baby made him feel even worse. He'd find that car, and he was considering killing anyone who might try to take it away from him. "Other than that, I'm just aces."

He really was starting to enjoy this human. He hadn't expected it at all. Eric thought that this one would make a very good vampire. Except for the part where he seemed to detest vampires very much. It wouldn't work out in the end.

Eric took a hold of the human's face once again. Only this time, he held Bill face up, and placed pressure at either side of the jaw joint so that he would be forced to open his mouth. It didn't have to be wide, just enough for the blood to go in.

He placed his wrist to his mouth and tore it open with his fangs. The savage rip was made close to the bend of his wrist so that in this awkward position, Eric would be able to let the blood find it's mark easier. He pushed his hand against Bill's lips. Smiling all the while. Knowing that there would be a struggle at first, a refusal. But all it took was a few drops for the recipient to become enamored with it.

Dean had been a vampire already. Been there, done that, ganked the fuzzy haired asshole that'd done it. The hunter had no desire to be a vampire. In fact, he'd rather die first. Well, actually die not die like the many times before he had died. Dean Winchester had a very odd existence when it came to being human and how he kept avoiding death, which wasn't at all human.

The hunter's eyes went wide as soon as he realized what was about to happen. While his body was broken, and he had no real way to fight, Dean tried. He wasn't going through that again; he didn't even have the cure. He wasn't going to be that thing! Logic suggested that becoming a vampire wasn't the same for the different kinds, but he didn't want to find out. Only, he wasn't getting a choice.

The blood caught in his throat. He didn't want it. He screamed in his head, as he'd done other times when he found his body acting in ways he knew it shouldn't. Oh, there wasn't a complete separation of mind and body, but he hated himself when he felt his lips open more an press back against the vampire's skin. His tongue lap at the cut. His body, and somewhere not so deep his mind, wanted it.

Eric cut the human off from his blood at the moment when he knew it would both heal him significantly, and give him dreams for at least a few days. A week. If he was lucky, a week and a half, but he didn't think so. It was also the moment when the blood would really start tasting good. When it would become a need, a craving, to have more. Cruelty in the cut off moment, Eric timed it well for that. He'd enjoyed seeing the torment in the eyes while the body pulled more blood in.

He then stood up with a smooth movement that caused no more pressure to be on the breaks he had caused in Bill's chest.

"Goodbye."

Instead of out of the alley through it's opening, Eric went up. He was, of course, showing off his ability to fly, because he wanted just one more thing to impact this human, just one more thing that would defy the logic.
