okay, I have thought on this, between being sick, and what about a Jinn? (genie), that traps them, making them live out lives of their wishes?

Be kind of interesting to see how Aeon, Anita or even Dean would wish their lives to be. (though we have already seen Dean's on the show but I'll be changing that up)
