Dylan grinned widely when Aaron got it right, ignoring his brother's less than enthusiastic praise and lifting his own hand to hold out for a high five. Grinning further when the boy complied, he just stood up again, stretching up to his full height and reaching to tousle Adam's hair, giving a slight smirk down to his left side when the boy whined about it. "Very impressive," he said again, nodding. "Your mom must be really proud of you." ...because, clearly, his father wasn't all that excited over it.
"What else are you guys up to today?" he asked after an short, but still awkward, moment of silence, eyes still more on the boy than his father--though he glanced up a second later with a brow raised, looking entirely uninterested. Knowing Eric, nothing fun. Those poor fucking kids.
