A better man might have declined, and Conlan was half tempted, but the loud sound his stomach made and remembering that he'd accidentally left his grilled fish behind when he'd gone to investigate what was going on with Rhiannon only gave him room to nod. "I won't say no to that."
He opened his mouth to say more, but the sensation of something dripping onto his shoulder caused him to frown and look. Chunky applesauce perched there as the horse munched happily, then sniffed at the remains before his long tongue prodded at the leftovers he'd spilled on his master. Conlan merely sighed and shook his head, turning back to Rhiannon to offer her a weary smile. "Especially the drinks." Looking back to the horse, he frowned, tugging lightly on the reigns as the snacking began to simmer down. "Are you finished?" Lieutenant didn't reply, but did sniff a the shoulder again to make sure another apple wasn't going to appear where the sweet smelling remnants lingered. Conlan offered Rhiannon a nod before he turned and led the horse back into the crowd. "You've already eaten better than I have today, you know that?"
