Conlan understood that, especially now considering he was certain he was now under some sort of obligation to let someone know of the potential dangers of an untrained magic user in the city. Still, he was in a position where he could argue ignorance if it came down to it, at the moment at least. If no one got hurt, or if he continued to feel that Rhiannon wasn't any sort of real danger for now, he felt more inclined to keep that secret.
He looked thoughtful, aiming his gaze down at the street as his mind worked. "I'm in a much better position to ask certain people a few things in a...vague sense, I think, without raising suspicion. I could make it seem as if it's related to something with work, or..." He suddenly wondered if Pyrrha would be at the Rooster in the next few days, and if he might find a way to casually inquire if she knew anyone with magic ability among the nobility, and what was done in that sort of circumstance. She skirted the social norms of her own class enough already that she was likely the safest person to ask, as long as he was exceedingly vague with the details. "Maybe....see if there's someone within the city you might be able to speak with. You're not the only one in the city like you, it's just a matter of finding them and convincing them to help."
