As the fruit vendor scrambled to stand back up, impeded by the surprise and shock of what had happened, he first opened his mouth to hurl accusations at Rhiannon, loudly. However, as Conlan spoke to him he finally did notice the tall blonde's uniform and emblem, blinking at him with wide eyes as if processing the last three minutes of his life. And then, he closed his mouth, thinking better of it. He did not, still, deign the man with a response or acknowledgement, even when helped up on his feet for good.
Rhiannon wasn't sure what to do next, and she hadn't walked very far when she heard Conlan call her name. She sighed, stopping in her tracks, preparing for the worst before she turned around to face the Captain. She was terrified; this hadn't happened in so long, she had almost forgotten. She had tried hard to do so, anyway.
"I know what you saw," she told him softly. "Please don't tell. I don't know how to control it, I can't...I don't know what this is."
