OOC Shenanigans for The Warrant

Hi there! I'm Luke (CDJ buxnalaus), I'm new, blame Lou for my being here, and I am bringing in a character!

Kit Olsson is 27. Native of Io. Graduated in '70. And he came on board the Kamikaze as a Pilot earlier this year.
Personality wise, he's a giant, self-conscious nerd. He gets overly enthusiastic and excited about things, tends to babble endlessly about them, and then winds up thinking that everyone is just waiting for him to shut up. He is kind of desperate for other people's approval, too, and usually tries to go above and beyond the call of duty in the hopes of getting a 'nice work'.
As his graduation year probably shows, he is really new to the whole RAC business, and the Kamikaze is his first assignment. ...it's also the ship that his boyfriend works on, but he swears that was just a coincidence and he's trying to not make it a thing.

So, plot/lines/etc.?

Hi Guys. Lou again with my second (and most likely final) character.

His name is Peter Bowman and he's a member of the Kamikaze Crew. He's the second engineer, working under Hector. He's been on Kamikaze for less than 7 years. Previous to that he spent 2 years working on docked ships in Ganymede after the White Russian (on which he was an engineer) went down, sending him into a depression. That was a long time ago and he's pretty much moved on from all that. He does yoga now, it's all good.

He also is in a relationship with a crew member that should be introduced here shortly... They're pretty gross but it's cute.

Potential Plot lines:
- Graduates/people in RAC Academy Years '60-'61.
- Former crew members of the White Russian.
- People in Kamikaze.
- Engineer friendships.
- Chill, adult humans that drink tea and take names.

HELLO WARRANT AND WARRANT-PEOPLE, this is Katie with my fourth and final: Natalie Wimbourne, lead engineer on the Bahama Mama, 30-year-old originally from Callisto who has a serious problem with being told what she can't do.

She started her career in '61, and fought hard to get an open engineer position on the Tom Collins but was turned away because she doesn't have a dick. People might remember how pissed off that made her (and London, previously OF the Tom Collins, being the only crew member on her side NOW INCLUDES NICOLA TOO). So she ended up on the Cuba Libre from '61-'65, and in '65 she was transplanted to the brand spanking new Bahama Mama, where she's been ever since.

She's tough, resourceful, and very proud. She wants to be able to do anything and everything—she bristles when the subject is something she knows nothing about, but the flipside is that she'll be very devoted to learning. Handywoman, jack of all trades master of none, she's genuinely pleased to help out a colleague because it validates her purpose.

Nat in general is a very physically affectionate person, and not terribly difficult to get along with. I finally have a character I can safely offer up for past relationships/hookups with impunity, so please feel free to ask after a spot on her dance card, crew members or previous crew members especially! Even if your character isn't up for a sexual relationship, please know that if they have given Nat the go-ahead, there have probably been affectionate gestures at some point or another. Discuss details with me!

hi, it's venus with my third!!!! pardon me while i tag around a bit late - school sort of caught me off-guard (lol it always does, i am very disorganized...) and when that happens, i don't touch my laptop at all... at least this will be over this year...

this here is EGON WILDER, but most people will know him as EGG because i like to name my characters hilarious things. isn't it kind of cute???? anyways, egg is a PILOT on the TEQUILA SUNRISE, class of '63 and originally from IO. he's a friendly guy with lots of charm, though a little more ~subdued~ than that might imply. he's not all over the place, he's quite serious when he's working, and he's not so much a leader as he is a supportive follower. he does have a tendency to be protective, even coddling, over his crewmates or friends, especially women (ugh), but his past experiences contributed significantly to that - it's more a reflection of that than anything. previous to working in the RAC, he was a junker and scavenger, but he's swore off that life. it does contribute to a lot of his familiarity with a wide variety of ships - he can fly almost anything - and he's familiar with a lot of places as well, since his old job took him all over the place.

his big ole thing is that he has a fiancee in a coma after the two of them went on a scavenging trip gone horribly wrong, and while he doesn't speak openly about it (though if someone knew him pre-RAC, they'd know ofc), he remains loyal to her and has trouble moving on... to put it lightly.

as for plot - give me everything!!!!!!!!! and if u think of anything for mercy or puck too, i am keen on that as well. thank u all and ♥

I'm Lou and I'm new to this crew, at least most of you. I've done a lot of RPing in the past but haven't really done much for the better part of six months. I'm a California boy who's pretty much lived here my entire life.

Right now I am bringing in one character, his name is "Pretty" Ricky Bueno and he is the navigator for the Tequila Sunrise. He's a relatively new recruit, having spent less than a year in the position. He's a pretty lively presence on the crew, bringing his youthful masculine energy to the group. He likes to enjoy himself, he likes to crack jokes, and he likes to be da best. He's so far pretty happy with the crew, aside from a few things here or there...

Some deets for those outside Tequila Sunrise... he was more on Tijuana 29 years ago. He was a poor kid from a not great neighborhood. He joined the RAC academy in 2069, so would have overlapped with cadets that are of that range. He's pretty personable and goes out quite a bit so you might've run into him during a happy hour or at the club (he enjoys dancing). While he is mostly into dudes he has no problem flirting with the ladies.

so anyway i'm in this game now and i'm playing a dude named ash williams. he's a gunner aboard the kamikaze. he's from tijuana and he'll be turning 29 in about a week. he grew up poor and joined the military for the steady paycheck; he was pretty good at it but didn't really like it (dat corruption tho) so didn't stay on. the rac seemed like a better choice, given the skills he'd acquired - better pay, more morally justifiable. well, usually, at least.

ash is a mostly quiet dude. it's hard to get a word out of him sometimes. that's for a reason, though: it's easier to listen when you're not talking. he's observant and measured, acting only after due consideration. pretty mellow overall, but won't hesitate to throw down should the situation call for it.

hello thewarrant! this is gia, hilariously late at making my intro -- i'd planned to do it earlier, but it's been a Weekend that has just been topped off by my postcode losing all water pressure thanks to a burst main. SO THAT'S FUN.

anyway, this here is vera brandt, the kamikaze's navigator. SOME STATS:

-- class of 2065. 32 years old. hails from europa.
-- family runs tequatic, one of the bigger freshwater mining companies. 'brandt' is her mother's name which she utilises to keep some distance between herself and the folks back home (and also because i don't want to be typing 'van leeuwenhoek' all the time).
-- vera comes across as someone with 1107% chill. this is mostly true -- she has plenty of chill, but it's fairly finite when it comes to not!crewmates. then she's all steel. but she'd rather talk and negotiate her way out of a tight spot (though if a quick jab to the windpipe will get her out more neatly, then so be it).
-- she likes pretty things, good wine, spa days.
-- ridiculously good memory. she can recite the digits of the number pi to... some obscene degree.
-- tldr.

okay hi guys! this is venus - again - and warning bc i ate way too much and now i'm dead in the brain. food comas are way too real atm. i am laying in bed and can barely rub two braincells together.

very quickly:
- this is puck naberrie, engineer on the B52. graduated class of '66. originally from callisto. age: 28
- some of you might recognize the name bc he was once another character, but he's been changed significantly. here, he's the youngest of six sons. his father is dead; his mother, remarried. the majority of his family are factory workers. puck was like 'nah bruh' to that and used his smarts and skills to get himself where is now.
- personality: an obnoxious, self-centered playboy who is all too aware of his talents and genetic gifts - intelligence, good looks. he's super full of himself, hits on everything, and despite being charismatic af, is pretty terrible to work w/ for the most part.
- that last bit is why he tends to be shuffled around crews. the B52 is his fourth. he has worked with three other crew, which i haven't determined yet so hmu for connections there, he is flexible. the years are broken off into pairs: '66-'68, '68-'69, '69-'71. i think this puts him on his first year w/ B52?
- i mean he's probably fine if you aren't working w/ him but his know-it-all attitude and blatant disregard for authority makes him a total pain in the butt. in general, he is a pain in the butt.
- looking for: exes, bros, enemies. people who hate him, people who love him, people he hates/loves in return. he's much more exaggerated and fun than mercy imo so there's going to be a wide diversity in connections available. give them to me.
