SUP APOLLO??
THE LANDING & SWEEP. Ren's dossiers will lead all the Bahama Mama, the B52, and the Tequila Sunrise to the outskirts of the main colony. Their target location is an emergency bunker located at little less than half a kilometer beneath the surface, accessible via three separate entrance points. Ren, who accompanies the crews to assist on the mission via the Bahama Mama, briefs them in military fashion how the bunker is old, massive, and unfinished in certain parts of the tunnels due to the abandonment of the project a decade before. With the Tequila Sunrise and the Bahama Mama united, you'd think odds are looking good. That is, until the generator kicks out, and the red lights come on. A door is kicked open down the way, releasing a flurry of Apollo's lackeys — 6 of them. SOLOMON PRICE takes out two (permanently); MACY GRAVES breaks one's nose with a well-placed elbow to the face; REGGIE SALAZAR shoots one of them in the upper thigh; [MAMA D] less than gently takes a pipe between one of their legs (ow), and the swing on the way back snags another in the gut. They make sure they're all down for the count, address injuries, and then head out again. The next step becomes all too clear: if they're stuck inside, so is Apollo, right? At least, that's the logic. ALLOY argues that they'll need to get the generator back up and running, but the priority, right now, is nabbing Apollo. Luckily, not too much long after that announcement, Tequila Sunrise and the Bahama Mama meet up with the B52 & co. They encounter a stray lackey — Sir Hit-In-The-Jewels from earlier — whom RICKY BUENO presses into a wall and demands the location of Apollo. |
