It still fascinates me at how much the world has changed since my time.

And how much it has left to change before mine.

Time is a wealth of change,
but the clock in its parody makes it mere change and no wealth.

What is 'Midgard'?

This world. I think it's more commonly called Earth?

Ah. Earth-that-is. I know her as Earth-that-was; her skies grew dark, and her rivers ran with ashes, and so we fled to the stars. To other worlds.

Fled to the stars? How were you able to do such a thing? Did the gods allow it?

It is not so difficult. We made ships of metal and glass to sail through skies instead of seas. Making other earths, now, that was the real trick.

The opinions of the deities are not recorded in any history I am familiar with; I suspect they were not consulted.

That is incredible you were able to do that.

It is possible they left humans to deal with what they had done to the world themselves.

Crossing the sea in a wooden box with nothing but a board and a piece of magic glass to guide you is incredible. Technology advances, and the scale shifts. That is all.

It is possible. I would not blame them for leaving.

I am nothing but points. My edges are all jagged and sharp
