"A shower sounds good, but maybe later." Then again, he really didn't think he'd have the energy for it later. Once he was lying down he would just want to stay there. Though he remained doubtful about being able to sleep at all. This wasn't the first time he'd done this, though it was the first time he'd managed it for so long. Even if that was because he'd had no choice.
He couldn't recall what he'd even left at the other place. Not much. He hadn't had much to begin with. But right now that wasn't a concern. He wanted to stay here too.
He pushed himself to his feet again with some effort, using the arm of the couch as leverage. Standing really didn't feel all that good though, there'd been a reason he'd made it no further than the door. A sudden rush of vertigo hit him, which in turn brought the headache and nausea back to the forefront with a vengeance. He swallowed convulsively, breathing through his nose to ward off the sensation. It just reminded him of everything that was wrong. Every one of his failings, and the only thing he wanted to do to push that feeling aside.
