I've had feelings for three women in this city, the complexity of which and depth of which have been very different in every case.

Catherine and I have a history. Quite a volitile one.

Sometimes that makes doing...that...better.

The thing is. It is something I would normally do. Kill a vampire. Regardless of the situation. It's what I spent my whole life doing.

But, Annie she helped me see different. She would only let me move in with them if I stopped. Then I met Hal. And, he's my best mate. Even though he's a vampire.

But, still it's hard sometimes to remember that not all vampires are bad, you know? That Hal isn't the only exception. Even if I always worry that he'll revert back to bad Hal again, you know?

Look, I'm not innocent by any means. I've tried to be a better man, and maybe my brother is right that I try to dress up, act noble and respectable, but at the heart of everything, I'm still a vampire. I've still killed people and done horrible things. I've even liked some of it--a lot of it. I've tried to change the monster inside of me, but at the heart of it, I still threaten and harm when it suits me or my family. You were only going on your instinct and I will not blame you for that.

I fear him reverting back to Lord Harry as well. It would devastate Katherine to lose her friend. Just be there for him, I suppose. He has a better chance of succeeding as Hal with you around.

I was alright. It was mostly woods, so other than it trying to kill us, ~~and the bird things which screamed in your voice~~ it wasn't too different to being with McNair again. And, I had Lydia to keep an eye on.

I'm not hurt, and I'm all me again.

I've sort of been on a date with someone. It was a date. There could maybe be future dates, I don't know. It's very early days.
