It may seem a silly, misguided fear to us, Elijah, but to her it's real and legitimate and she's just waiting for the other shoe to drop. She saw it happen a thousand times in the Cage. I'm not saying it excuses her, but her losing her grip on reality isn't helping do anything but exacerbate all of this. It's no different than someone with some sort of delusion disorder or something. Can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy, just sort of all melds together in the end.
Her problems are all so compounded and she's lashing out every chance she gets and it's just going to get her in troube in the end. It has to stop. And I feel bad even saying it, feels like I'm belittling what happened to her, but honestly...the others that were in there, either their freak outs are more private or they all seem to be handling it better than her, more or less. It's like...she uses the Cage as a crutch to justify her actions.
