I was dealing with it and no one was going to know about it, it was fine, but Elena showing up like this...

It made some crap fall down in my head. Does that even make sense? Like I have a mental filing cabinet where I shove things and it just got a little disorganized these past couple of days and I can resort it back where it needs to go and carry on like before.

I just don't want anyone else to know.

Because there's too much other stuff going on. Kol freaking out, Caroline having issues, Elijah and his eternal relationship drama with Katherine. They all need to focus on themselves for a bit and not worry about me. And Nik would try to fix it all by shouting at me, and Lexi kinda knows a bit but got all judgey at me and I couldn't take it.

And Stefan has been through enough.

I do things to hide it.
