I was wondering, if or when you feel ready, you'd like to move into the compound? There were some wish bauble things just before you arrived, and I wished for the compound from home. I thought it would help me to feel settled.

You could have your own wing. I'd have deeds written up so that it belongs to you, so you could have control over which vampires can be invited in.

I know we've had our problems over the centuries, but I never stopped caring about you. I loved you and that doesn't actually happen nearly as often as Nik likes to claim. So it does mean a lot that you want to get to know Stefan. He's a good man, as much as he doesn't always believe it himself.

I want you to be happy too, by the way. In this place, there are so many opportunities. Just look at Kol, he's actually in a relationship. It's weird and unexpected, but it seems to be working for him!

I did too. It was nice and....normal. We should definitely do it again sometime. Maybe a weekly lunch together. It could help. And how are you with math?

Oh, wow. Um, I appreciate it, I really do, but I like where I'm staying. And...moving? That is gonna take more than a lunch date and art supplies, Marcel. But...it's nice to know I have the option if I wanT it. But I'm just not ready for that.
