I will attempt to do what I can to make up for

I am attempting to find Sam, altering certain spells to a degree that will hopefully make them different enough to avoid whatever protections he has in place, though I, of course, cannot promise such. It is merely an attempt, and mostly theoretical, at present.

However, to make this work I require the blood of his blood.
