He may find me useless or boring or whatever the hell else the second he finds out I'm human. Most of you know I was practically his pet last time he was around. Look. He was here for awhile about a year or so ago. He was here when I showed up. He was the only person at the time that would even so much as give me the time of day because everyone had precious little Elena and her friends warning them against me and they all knew who I was and I was outcasted from day 1 basically.

He offered me protection. The house I was in when I was living with Hal and Mitchell and Alex? He bought it for me. Isolated. Protected. I just had to do some of his bidding. It was a fair trade. It was a business deal. But I didn't have anyone here at the time either so there were some insinuations. There were some deals alluded to. How we could have been the perfectly destructive match if only he hadn't found his precious Fairytale first. He knew he would be ended. But he made a deal. He knew he'd be back.

There was never anything between us, but if he's going to tell anyone here anything, it's going to be me. I was practically his number one lackey before. If he still thinks I'm loyal to him? He might give me details. They may be minor. But they'd be more than nothing.

It's a part that I have to play, Elijah. That's it.
