Elijah is wonderful and yes, Rebekah is opinionated but she's basically lived in a position of power for over a thousand years and maybe she has a right to be kind of bitchy. She's a friend of mine, I can't not defend her here.
Anyway, yeah. I agree, we're not getting anywhere by threatening. But Klaus can't get away with threatening a kid, either. There has to be a line here, Alex, and I don't know where it can be drawn. But Klaus needs to be reigned in and people need to quit picking at him like a recurring scab.
The difference here is none of you are threatening a teenaged kid who's scared and trapped. He's over a thousand years old, he speaks Latin, he could learn the exorcism and offer to save James rather than kill him. But I notice that wasn't on the agenda.
I'm not saying what the others have done is right. I'm saying maybe they had a point when the arguments started.
