You make a valid point with your seniority here. You've been here for months, which, granted, I didn't realise until recently. But I also know something about demons. Try living with one for a couple hundred years. Where I come from, demons don't just up and change their nature--even on the rare occasion that they want to. And they're damned good at deceiving people, for months and even years. You think you know someone, or that you can enact some change from the inside, but all you end up is being used and manipulated. What I said up there about being burned, I didn't just mean that I was burned. I meant that I've done things that I'm not particularly proud of. I can say that I'm different because of my circumstances, but it's not the demon that's changed. The demon in me will never change and I'm constantly fighting against what it wants. That's something I have to live with.
I'm not an expert on the demons of this world, but like I said, maybe the odds that she's the only one uniquely good in this great big realm is a flag of caution. I'm not trying to undermine your judgements here and I'm certainly the last in the world, this one or any other, to be prejudiced against demons based off of what they are. But the ones that weren't harmless from the start rarely change for good to the end. Just saying we should approach with healthy caution, is all.
