Everyone has their reasons. Who gets to decide which reasons are in good faith? Klaus has done his share of horrors, I'll admit that faster than nyone, and I don't agree with all of it, but in the end he did it for us, for the family, but his reasons don't matter because, what, his actions were too extreme? Who judges how far is too far?
The question that begs to be asked, then, is...these people that could potentially make our lives living hell if this deal is broken, would they give them the same living hell on earth treatment to your precious Gilbert children? Or would they simply get a slap on the wrist and a couple of lectures in morality? Because honestly, if the punishments aren't equal, I don't see why we have to play fair.
Not threatening, for the record, just asking. Trying to see the logic, here. We've got half-drawn targets on us already, we're the ones expected to break the deal but maybe it's not us, maybe it's them. Then what?
