Filtered against evil, and minors
I was looking at some movies, also remembering the ones about my world. And I had a thought: what if Kingsley Shacklebolt had been played by the actor Samuel L. Jackson? Isn't British, no. But I bet it'd be amusing anyway. I have an audio book of his about going to sleep. Kinda funny, that.
[Hogwarts Filter] Got to say this, Tonks is amazing. We've been working on an enchantment project for a few days at my house. Took a lot of testing. Mostly trial and error, experimenting, trying to find out what works and what doesn't, til we came up with the desired result. I think we got it now. We had set up a test room and had magical charms on everything in it, even the wallpaper. The goal was to enchant some glasses (kinda like Spectrospecs) to let the wearer see things of a magical nature. Did a lot more wrong and mistakes than gotten right. Once we only saw a lamp, then that and a table. And once in a while there was nothing. Another time, we did see everything, but then immediately all except the paintings vanished. But finally. Got it to be able to see it all in there. And it holds. It truly is a good thing when people work together. Tempting to have given up wholly near the end of it, but I was taught to never quit, never accept defea
So. Umm, I suppose this can mean that for the quidditch thing, brings us a step closer. I think that trying to do charms to filter the ringed area for who can or can't see would be so complicated, but the method Tonks and I came up with was a lot simpler. So, when these matches do happen? Maybe our muggle friends and fans can come watch it, all they have to do is put on the glasses to watch. Which was the purpose of the project I suppose this means it's pretty much set. Although, I wonder if others of a magical nature might like to play. Like... oh, Loki. Or Regina. Or anyone else. Was hoping for Merlin, but ah well. Maybe if he returns.
Speaking of Merlin, though. The copy of his book he wrote up, that he gave me, the one I passed to Hermione and Tonks, which probably passed along to others. Feel free to keep it and continue sharing it amongst the group. It's a copy, so I really don't mind having it be passed around and learned from by others.
