Adolescent Questions
1. How old were you when you went on your first date? Johnny Brosenback doesn't count and I was 12. My first real date was when I was 15. The dates I had all turned out to be crazy and tried to kill me or my friends. So I consider my date to the Spring Formal to be my first real date. Even if he left me. 2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? They get in the way. A lot. Especially at that age. Just because you're under 18 doesn't mean you don't know anything. After all, how many stories did we uncover? How many people did we get help in Summerholt? How many lives did we save? 3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? I was different. But I had my best friends who were always by my side. I was known around the school mostly because I was the editor of the school newspaper, or because I was the best friend of Lana Lang and Clark Kent. I wouldn't say I was popular then and I wont say it now. I'll stick with saying I was known around the school. I had my sources within each clique. Somehow I managed to win Prom Queen.. but in no way was I popular. 4. What were your high school goals? Make it to graduation. Uncover every weird thing going on in the halls of Smallville High, hoping one of those stories would land me an article in the Daily Planet or win me an award. 5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? Elizabeth Cochran, better known as Nellie Bly. She was one of the pioneers of women journalists. My fantasies? Now that's private. 6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? The Spring Formal, before he left. When Clark lost his memory and I had to babysit him while he rediscovered his powers. He didn't know I knew back then, it was nice to not have that big secret between us for a few days. I knew, I had known for awhile, he just didn't know I did. It was funny to see him find out what he could do. Clark never knew that he revealed his secret then. Now he does. I know he'll read this. As fun as it was? I never want to have to explain to him again why he has his powers. 7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? Out of all of them? Not having the medicine Luthorcorp had for my mother to keep her from going back into a catatonic state.. But Oliver made sure she was in a good facility instead of locked up as some lab rat.
