For the record, if I find anyone reading Ulysses today or get a hint of any manner of lemon soap something is going to die.

Just easiest if we get through the most pointless holiday in my countries history without death I think

You haven't read it then. Good choice.

No, but now I'm curious. Not, like, going-to-read-it curious, but... how does lemon soap fit into a book people make a holiday about?

Oh I don't know, he buys it for his wife who he thinks is cheating on him or something.

Someone tried to explain it once to me, I got bored

Nope, that's the problem.

It is the day a horde of unpleasant literary wannabe's descend on Dublin though.

...might have to plan a trip for next year. Lots of birds one stone

Um. Do me a favor and don't go in the kitchen for about ten minutes.

Shut up, lemon is a perfectly logical choice for kitchen handsoap. There's an apple, I'm switching them out, calm down!

Apples generally better anyway.

...actually save it.

I'll throw it at people I find reading it

You are not wasting a soap that is perfectly acceptable the other 364 days a year.

You're right. That's incredibly wasteful.

I'll just have them shot
