You will be, for awhile. The first time I died, it was because my throat got torn out. For months after I came back, I'd freak if anything sharp got too near my throat. The guy that did it was a shadowmancer, so I'd also get twitchy around shadows or during blackouts. Free advice? Don't try to make that go away. You'll just tire yourself out, and then you'll be exhausted and scared. Just let it run it's course. That fear's sort of like a bad hangover. It'll be there for awhile, and you'll get used to it and learn how to function around it, and then one day you'll be in the middle of doing something and just realize you're not afraid anymore.
No, you don't. You think you do, but the only way you ever really forget something like that is if you have to replace the memory with something worse. I forgot my first death, for instance, but only because I had a couple more to add to the list and ran out of room on the mental grocery list.
