These are the people we are to look to for leadership and protection?

I'm sure there's a reason they're behaving the way they are. Though Dean does seem to like to drink a lot

Yes, because clearly drug use is the key to stopping the end of the world.

Drugs often make people think outside of the box. Maybe that sort of thinking from time to time could generate ideas that would, in fact, help stop the end of the world.

There is a reason which I've explained below.

This isn't regular behaviour for the people involved.

You don't need to defend yourself to me. What's the point in fighting to keep us all alive if people aren't allowed to have fun from time to time?

I'm sorry, I guess it has me defensive.

Its all kinds of complicated.

I imagine so.

I know we haven't talked a lot, but I'm so sorry for what's happening with your brother-in-law. If you guys need any help with his last wishes, please just ask. If I can't manage, I may know people who can.

We haven't. We should fix that.

Thanks. I'll tell him, I know he has a list of stuff he wants to do...

Mostly I'm just trying to be there for them all. I'm not sure I'm doing so well.

Well, other than a bit of amusement on poor Dean's part.

You're only one person, you can't do everything. I'm sure they know you're doing all you can. Your family does more than anyone could ask, if that's not enough, too bad.

Well there's that. But I've been mocking Dean professionally for some time now!

Oh they know, they tell me all the time. Still, doesn't always feel like enough.

Hi. What have you done for the fight lately? I mean existing to make bitchy comments has its place and all but seriously?

Are you truly saying that whether or not I have the right to have an opinion is based solely on what I've 'done'?

How about we discuss what they have done, instead. As far as I can tell, the people who are supposedly 'in charge' have done little else than act like teenagers and spent the majority of their time the past few weeks on drugs or drinking. Everyone gets in an uproar whenever your husband...falls off the wagon, as it were, yet as far as I can see that all this has hurt our cause more than it has helped.

But please, if this is indeed all part of the ultimate plan for winning this war, feel free to tell me so and I'll keep my opinions to myself.

Yup. Even people that can't fight have contributed in their own ways. You just seem to pop up to be bitchy about stuff.

If you'd paid attention to anything outside the sphere of you, you might have realised that those people who by the way have never claimed to be in charge, have had possibly the worst few weeks of their lives. It's been mentioned. None of us are hiding it. We lost someone close to us only to have her brought back to us at the worst possible cost. So we lose control a bit, drink, smoke some pot which wow, what a crime, and generally let loose cause what the hell else can we do. There's no way out and we ARE gonna loose a friend in July. What do you think we should do instead. Sit, wallow, or do whatever he wants to do for the last month he has on earth. He wanted to get high for once and he wanted to do it with friends.

My husband? You have no idea, vampire or not, no idea what he goes through to fight that. So don't mention it so disparagingly again.

Climb out of your own ass sparkles.

Look, say your piece if you need to, because we did royally fuck up in some places last night, but do me a favor and keep my addiction out of it.

Protection? Sure. I got no problem with that, in theory, but I'm not the only one who can shoot badguys in the face, anymore. Plus we have Supermen and Jedi and a lot of people know exorcisms now... and if something happened and there was an emergency that required me personally, I could have been sobered up with an angel or a potion (which I have one of left in my apartment, and could probably get more) in a couple minutes.

Leadership, though? Hell no. Don't make me a leader, even just in your eyes. I'm gonna screw up, and I'm gonna do it often, and I might even be proud of it. I'm not the leadership type, not for this kind of gig. I don't need that kind of pressure. I can't speak for anyone else, but the idea of having people count on me any more than they already do just makes me wanna get the hell outta Dodge right now.

In other news, I had fun last night. I'm pretty okay with that.

Who are we talking about? The people I was discussing have never been declared leaders. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention? You might want to do more of that before you criticize.

Alright, here's the thing. Stop bitching about "Oh no the so-called leaders that don't want to be leaders got roped into something by their dying little brother." Especially since yeah. It was my idea. And then Sam grabbed the wrong pie and he ended up right there along with the rest of us.

See, I've got this bucket list. There's shit I want to do before the 12th, and since I'd never been high before, that was one of the things. Fucking sue me and my fucking family for doing something that's on my list of shit to do before I go spend the rest of eternity in hell.

And you know what? Ruby's right. You don't get to say shit until you actually do something around here you stupid fucking bitch. Go hide in your corner all you want, but if you do that you don't get to complain about us.
