I hope you understand that I don't feel comfortable giving an opinion on what Jaina did either way, I'm apprenticed to her, that means I'm supposed to respect her decisions. Not follow them blindly, but have respect for them definitely. I also know she would never maliciously hurt anyone but I suspect you can't take her niece's word for it.
That all being said I wonder why this is the first time this has come up. There is no judge and no jury. I'm not saying there should be, I'd be the last person to write up some kind of code of law I mean...I explode soup (it came off the ceiling, really, I know you like the kitchen clean)...but everyone gets away with everything unless people take things into their own hands. Nathan almost killed Jaina when we were all infected with sins, she had sloth and he told her to jump off the roof and she would have done that and died if the Trickster hadn't intervened. I'm pretty sure he was not infected with a sin at the time and he took advantage of someone who couldn't defend themselves on what seems like a complete whim. He never apologized and no one cared unless I missed something (I was out of town at the time and only saw this scanning over the comms).
I'm not bringing this up to compare it to what Jaina did because, again, staying out of that one. I'm bringing it up because things like this have happened before and I'm wondering why it's this specific thing that brought about this discussion. Is it because she has power other people don't have? Has Jaina done something you see as wrong in the past? Have the group of us? I mean, this does seem to be a resentment that goes beyond Jaina.
