"We would have done worse in her situation." Dean reminded his brother. But yeah. He got it. He got Buffy's perspective too but giving Alistair more people wasn't the best of ideas. There was no way they could take them on their own.
"You think they going to see it that way?" Dean asked, a hint of irritation his tone. Not so much at Sam but at this entire fucking situation. At them for falling for the decoy. They should have headed straight back. "Their friends and family are missing. Far as any of them are going to see it, we're the people that are supposed to watch their backs. And we're the douche bags that fucked up." Dean frowned. "Where th-" But with control Dean didn't even know he had, he caught himself. One hand went up and pinched between his brows. Now wasn't the time, now wasn't the time, he reminded himself. It wouldn't be a lie to say that Dean was pissed off as hell at nearly everyone in this damn situation. Alistair being right on top of that list and himself and his brother being right under "Yeah." He replied shortly "I am. I haven't since the last time I saw you." It was a shot at Sam.
