Happy Birthday, Jesus Who: Parker What: Fine tuning her plans to make Christmas Day awesome Where: Her bedroom within her home with Hardison and Eliot When: Late Christmas Eve
Though all of the gifts she had intended to give were in the hands of their rightful new owners, Parker was still busying herself with Christmas business. She walked from room to room organizing things that she needed to do for the Christmas celebration she had planned for the apartment complex, all while singing “I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas” in a low voice.
She took a box cutter to a cardboard box that had just arrived in the mail earlier that day. When the flaps were opened they revealed a plush Santa suit of red velvet with stark white faux fur trim. Parker stared at the suit folded up in the box, beaming like a kid on Christmas morning. She knew that everyone would love it. She hefted the box off of the table and carried it to Eliot’s bedroom, setting it on the floor of the hallway, figuring he’d notice it when he opened his bedroom door.
Parker then made her way to her bedroom. flinging open her closet door. There, among her entirely black thief’s wardrobe, stood out a garment made of emerald green cloth. Slowly, with a big smile on her face, she pulled it out of the closet and looked at it up and down. It looked like something one might expect an elf from the North Pole to wear with its red and white accents and the little jingly bells sewn onto the hem. Just looking at it got her even more into the Christmas spirit. She smoothed out wrinkles with her free hand and hung it back up in the closet.
Kicking off her shoes, Parker curled up under her blankets. If she was going to carry out this elaborate Christmas plan she would need a suitable amount of sleep. She rolled onto her side and hugged Bunny 2.0 close to her chest with a satisfied smile on her face.
“Happy Birthday, Jesus,” She mumbled, then sinking into a pleasantly deep sleep.
