The reason he did most of what he did was because he loved you. He just didn't go about it in the best way. He wanted to make things safer for you, but instead it just... turned into a mess. But his intentions were good.
I don't blame you for being angry. I don't think it's a dangerous anger, either, unless you let it control you, or don't let go of it. And I think.... forgiving a memory might be harder. With him here, trying, you might find it easier.
It's not silly at all. And, same as the anger, just don't let it take over and it's fine. I'm scared that I'll go back home, and have to kill him watch all of this happen. That I won't be able to stop any of it. Or I'll end up joining him
But just... my advice is to go into it knowing there's a chance you'll leave, so it won't be a shock if you do. And if you go home, you can remember that he's here. He's not dead, or damned, or any of that anymore, here. You'll probably miss him, but at least you'll have memories of him that aren't bad, and you'll know he's okay, here.
