WHO: James and OPEN WHERE: The pool! WHEN: About 2 PM WHAT: Random fun times? STATUS: OPEN Ratings: TBD
James would never tell her it to her face but he was quite sure that the second he'd read her post, he was quite certain that she had became his favourite relative. Okay, favourite cousin. Rose was quite genius, something he would never tell her either, at times and he personally thought the pool idea was one of her best suggestion. Which honestly wasn't saying much of anything, given the number of times her ideas would annoy him when they were children.
But this? This he liked. Not only the end result-although James fully planned on making use of it one late night with Claire-but the making of it. He'd always been terribly fascinated with how things were structured together. Coming from having Arthur Weasley as a grandfather and a propensity for taking things apart when he was younger. Therefore watching the different magics go together to make a pool with chairs and tiles and even a little sandy area was an absolute blast.
Sadly, and strangely enough, the day of the pool being made (aka as yesterday) James hadn't gotten a chance to enjoy it. Too distracted by other things. Also known as, making himself a bigger nuisance around the kitchen and Claire. He bloody well loved this heating situation. However, now, James was sticky and as much as he could be ever the optimist-especially when he set his mind to it-he wanted to cool down. He was English. Kansas was warm enough for his taste. Honestly, if Rose hadn't thought up the pool suggestion, he would have ended up spending more time in his room with a cooling spell or in a shower rather than being outside enjoying the scantily clad men and women.
Padding bear-feet to the pool, in swim trunks. James noticed that no one was around. He was rather sure that it would only be a matter of time before that changed. Setting his wand down in a safe place, James got a running start before jumping straight into the pool. He couldn't see to judge himself but he was quite certain that the resulting splash had been damn impressive.
