The room they stood in was fairly straightforward; there were a couple of things Robin was not able to identify, but the seating and table were clear enough. However, the next room they looked into was less-discernable. He got the cupboards, but if it had not been for the countertop, he would have been baffled. "Kitchen?" he guessed, not very confident of that. With a laugh and a shake of his head, he said, "You'll have to explain some of this to me."
The bedchambers were less ornamental than the ones he had grown up with, but were significantly more impressive than the bunk he'd had in the forest. The smaller of the two chambers opened onto an outdoor area, and he was momentarily very conscious of the indoor air. The air outside smelled quite different than he was accustomed to, but it was still closer to Sherwood than what was in here. "Would you mind if I took this one?" If she would rather have it, he would not argue, but he hoped she would not.
