Robin was not sure he could get through such a discussion with her, but that she was even teasing about it was something new. As he followed her, trying not to watch the delightful motion of her skirt, he noted the changes that had come over her in what, to her, had been a very short time.
She was so relaxed... happier. Considering what he had been told about how they had come to be here, it seemed as though she should be even more concerned than in their own time.
But, he could not argue it. That was one more thing he would ask about later.
It did make him wonder what was happening back in Nottingham, however. Had he simply disappeared? Or was it as it had been with Marian, and he would somehow still be carrying on there? How had that happened, anyway?
His head was starting to hurt at the conundrum, so he merely hoped that things were going well. He had once told Much that they would carry on without him and be fine, and he had every confidence that such could be the case.
As he moved up beside her, he suddenly noticed a small ring on Marian's left hand, and reached to brush his fingers over it. "What's this?"
