Marian reached up to grab another book from the trolley that was meant to be placed down here, slotting it into place and not really paying attention to what he was doing. Grasping the second last book on the trolley, she pushed it into the right space on the second shelf. Smiling, she rolled her eyes a little at his question before pushing herself up to stand.

"One or two," she said with a shrug and a grin.

With that, she grabbed the last book and turned to find the space for it, going up on her tip toes so she could reach. With that done, she walked back to him, kissing him swiftly before holding her hand out for him to give her the book.

"Unless you'd like to take it back to read, of course. Though I do still have one I borrowed back where I stay so if you're really that interested you're more than welcome to read," she said with a grin, her eyes staying on his. "If you'd rather the book I have at home I suggest you let me put that back so I can go back and get my things so we can leave."
