Her smile was slowly starting to fall as he continued to be silent. This was not good. Had something happened? But then again, how would she feel if she had arrived thinking them married and he did not agree? She would be devestated, could not handle the thought that she was his wife and yet he had no knowledge of it.
When he finally spoke she nodded, looking down as she thought. So they were married, he thought them to be married. But as far as she knew he could just be saying that. Then again, he wasn't the type of man to do that. Clearing her throat, she looked up at him.
"Then...we're married. But I'd still rather remember being married to you than just nodding and agreeing," she said softly, hoping he understood that it wasn't her saying she didn't like the thought of being his wife. She just wanted to be present at the moment it happened, she wanted to marry him. It was all far too confusing.
