Damien was glad to have found a sketch artist in the area. Particularly, one who seemed very talented at it. Of course she was. One didn't do all forms of art for a long time if they weren't skilled at it. And he was now curious to see for sure, to have his beliefs confirmed. Angela had seemed like a nice person when he spoke with her about this over the boards. He liked that, he liked being around people who could be nice and cordial, who had good manners when he did something nice. He had left a large bag of cookies in the kitchen a few days ago. Before that, it was pizza. Maybe he'd buy something else once he got some more money. Damien believed that actions were stronger than words; so he tended to give things to people as a whole instead of a simple verbal thanks. It was his way. He wondered how long the treats would last this time around.. maybe a week or two, maybe three. He imagined there might be half of it left by now. After all, there were over 30 to 40 residents. Probably at least half would eat those sort of things back home. And now he was onto another good deed. One more way to show that he could very well be a good guy. He had been choosing good instead of evil since he arrived here, after all. That wasn't likely to change anytime soon. And there was a violent offender still out there; that had to be dealt with, and soon. Another thing to put on a recently growing list of priorities.
He was also grateful to those who helped him; to Billy and Chloe for saving him, and to Clark for work advice. And there was Raven about a month or so ago, but he suspected it was true, that she had been sent back home like so many others. Damien had dressed nicely, pants, shirt, a tie, and a blue jacket as he went down to the lobby. One would think he was on his way to a job interview. Probably wouldn't be very far from the truth. He had passed a few people, the residents, but continued on in a swift walk. He had a folder in his hands. He did need this sketch done. But it wasn't just for personal, artistic reasons. There was a reason why he needed a face drawn with detail. It would be that of a criminal. After that, he could do a number of things with it. He could pass it off anonymously to the police.. though how effective they'd be in the perp's capture, he wasn't sure. The man had nearly killed him, who knew what he'd do to another victim out there? Had to be stopped. He could let Chloe or one of the other tech savvy adults look it over and run it through a system. Or maybe even send it as a file to the local superheroes, perhaps they'd catch him in an act and take care of it. But all this.. these options, he'd keep to himself for now. Or at least until the drawing was complete. The young man had now opened the entrance doors to the complex and stepped outside, feeling the fresh air as he walked. He then looked around to see if Angela was there or at least on her way...
