ROSE & DAMIEN - TRIGGER WARNING FOR MENTION OF CHARACTER DEATH
"Oh yeah, I'd heard she was good at putting things together like this," Damien admitted with a nod. Magic was likely involved with some of it. From what he understood, Regina had been a queen and sorceress, and mayor too, so something of this magnitude was likely easily done. "I would have planned a big bash too and gotten fireworks, or maybe a company barbecue day, but.. well. The disasters happened. So I'm grateful we have this now to lift some spirits up. I'll be sure to thank Regina as well when I see her. Oh- but I do have fireworks in my car which I can retrieve when it's time to set some off tonight."
He had noticed a bit of initial shock and surprise on Rose's face when he had spoken and eyes had met. It had confused him a moment. Had they met like this before? He'd seen her around but.. ohh. It was now that he remembered that Rose and anyone else from her world, there was a man with his face. Christian. Damien had actually forgotten about him, had only met him just one time. Which was a few months ago or longer.
Then again, maybe it was something totally different, maybe there were things going on with her or someone else, he had no idea in any case. "Err, are you alright?" He felt he had to ask at least. He'd never want anyone uncomfortable by his appearance even if he didn't know. Or he could have just been assuming, which is possible. "I hope I didn't startle you or anything, sometimes I'd surprised people by accident before. Comes from being quiet naturally, I guess. Which is great in conflict scenarios, but not much during the day to day with acquaintances." He laughed lightly at that last part then, adopting humor as a way to make things more easy and amiable.
