If these creatures were like Titans but human size? They would pose no issue for Levi. Granted, that was because of what they were after. Were he fighting a ghost or a vampire or other similar creatures, things may have been a bit more challenging for humanity's strongest. He wasn't overly confident, but he was confident in his skills. He knew exactly what he was capable of doing and he knew his weapons of choice. That much was a given fact. He understood Damien's message fairly easily, missing the days with Erwin when the Commander would just need to give him a glance to know what they were going to do.
Granted, Erwin was fond of taking gambles, even when they weren't necessary so much. And he trusted Levi to act within the realms of what was possible for the Scouts. Levi trusted Erwin not to gamble with an empty hand, as well. With his dual blades drawn and ready, Levi nodded his agreement to Damien's plan.
He let the other man push the door open and fire his gun, and used the sound of the gun to swiftly move behind the creatures. They wouldn't see him coming. When the first ghoul went down, Levi prepared his blades to attack. He waited until one was looking quite ready to pounce at the stranger in front of them. Levi partially wanted to hold off, curious about Damien's strange powers. He wanted to know what the man really could do without weapons. It would have been interesting to see, but perhaps another time. He couldn't leave a partner in the dust.
Not even using the 3D mobility of his gear, Levi took his blades and swung them down in a crossing motion around one of the ghoul's necks. The head lopped off before the creature had even seen it coming, falling with a thump to the ground. Not wanting to get cocky about his momentary victory, Levi remained on guard even as the two remaining ghouls tried to figure out which one to go after. One started to come after him, and he knew he would have to act, fast, but did he rush into it, or did he wait for them to come to him?
