He wasn't going to pretend to understand Damien's powers. He couldn't. Such things didn't even exist for him, and they even those with Titan-shifting abilities were few and far between. They were lucky to have Eren on their side, despite what the world seemed to want. Kid was proving more and more useful in their struggle against the Titans overall. In this scenario, however, Damien was the one with the powers, but Levi was far from powerless. Especially when it came to monsters who ate people who could die from beheading. He was rather an expert at that.
"So aim straight for the head and don't get eaten," Levi remarked. "Sounds familiar. The only difference, then, will be identifying them. If they, for the most part, look like humans, I'll trust you to make sure that they aren't. It sounds like you'd be qualified for that." It took every ounce of his willpower to not clean this place. It was absolutely filthy, something that Levi couldn't stand. He would need a long bath once they got back to that hotel, not wanting anything to do with the filth of this place.
His eyes narrowed when Damien seemed to somehow unlock the door in front of him. Useful skill, but Levi gave him a look. "I can pick locks just as easy, you know," he admitted softly. It was a skill he'd picked up in the underground, something that he didn't mention often. Survival skills were what he'd mastered down there, and sometimes that would include lock-picking if need be. Silently, Levi withdrew his dual blades, holding them at what would appear to be an odd angle to anyone used to swords-play. The blades were drawn down, away from him, and he'd been criticized for it before. But he really didn't care what they thought. This style worked well for him, and he was going to keep using it until he didn't need to anymore.
His gaze shifted around them every now and then, taking in the sights around him. His boots stepped softly against the floor, and he took great care to walk as quietly as he possibly could.
