Damien could discern that Levi wasn't so much the researcher type, but more on the fighter side. Which was alright, he could be good at research. Having been to Yale, in which researching for a huge essay involved digging thoroughly into everything about the specific topic was involved. Similar case here except that lives may be on the line. He preferred action himself but he was able to do the 'studying' part of the hunt just as well. He had a feeling he was on to something as he looked for patterns.
He agreed on the suspicion. He had sometimes did a bit of hypothesis deduction, more like.. profiling? Think like the suspect, think like the criminals to catch them easier, police agencies did that a lot. But then, he had been on hunts for a few years already so he'd drawn on that experience too. About the killing, he smiled and got the keys. "Oh yeah, there will be plenty of that," he said. He folded the maps and notes, putting them in his backpack. He took a minute to input the driving directions to the first residence type structure he'd circled on the map, then led the way outside to his black car. Once they were both in and seat belts securely strapped, he started it and backed out, swiftly leaving the hotel parking lot.
It was nearly like being back in his home city as he drove. Aside from the fact that monsters apparently acted out here. Not in my town, he thought as he continued to drive quickly to their destination. He had glanced to the phone screen of his Iphone 5, mostly when he had to turn down unfamiliar streets. Which were few. As they got closer in the area, he spied a building 500 feet ahead. There weren't others for a few blocks. And they had just passed the cemetery, so he knew the place wasn't far. Seemingly ideal locale for predators to steal bodies. He parked on the side of the road, under an overheard tree branch. It wasn't so far to walk now. He shut it off and got out. His gun in his coat already. He took his sword from the backseat and stowed it under his coat as well. "Alrighty, here we go," he nodded to Levi as he would prepare swiftly as well. Duly ready, he began to walk toward the lone house, which looked a bit old in itself.
