He was lucky. Oh so very lucky. If Kate had actually been feeling the alcohol she drank, she'd have had to drink probably triple the amount, if not more. Rolling her eyes, she allowed Adam to get away with the excuse.
When the security guard allowed them to walk by, kept her eyes up at him for as long as she could, her teeth almost bared in a more than creepy way before she walked out of the building, Adam no doubt hot on her heals in more than one way. She just wanted to have fun. To run, to be free, to let her out of her constant cage. They were just humans. Just normal, everyday humans. A class below them. They were weak, and they wee large in number. One or two deaths wouldn't be missed.
